A science fiction story based on Addison, a young lady in her late teens that was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana.  She runs into complications that threaten her simple way of life when she meets Cadan.  Not sure exactly who he is or what he is, her curiosity is peeked.  A hard headed personality propels Addison to discover things about the world around her that she had never imagined.  The story moves from Louisiana to New Brunswick, Canada  to help Addison discover that she is not really who she thought she was.  This story is interwoven with the lore and history of the Cajun people that has been passed down through the generations.
